I've finished editing the video, I have to work on the sound to make it more interesting, add a title and I'll be done withe the video.

I also have to select and edit the pictures I took and create an ISSUU.

WEEK #12

Last Friday I tried to do a full setup of the installation to see how my idea really look like.

I'm happy with the result, everything is working good. I have to set it up one more time before I leave for bliss.

Also, I'll have to install Ableton on one of the school's computer and figure out a way to avoid the reboot.

So last week I had some problem with my Spirulina. I probably lost 75% of the colony because I though putting the container near by the window, it would grow faster. When I came back to school to check, the color turned slightly yellowish. In fact, it means that the Spirulina burnt. The water became too acidic because of the temperature augmentation.
Spirulina dies over 40°C. And in my case, the weekend was quite sunny and next to a window in the almost closed container, the green house effect probably pushed the temperature closed to 60 °C.

Also I just received 4 other pumps and I will also get 4 other tubes :

David told me it would be safer to put the air pump pipe from the top. He is right, if the pump stop the water will flow into the pump and it will be damaged.

Final prototype of my culture tube. Ready to welcome spirulina.

And I went very far to get 4L of Spirulina. Now I need to develop my project.
